The first couple of weeks we will review what they learned about FFA in 7th grade and add to it. They will then do a unit on Dairy foods. They will also review shop safety and work in the shop at the end of the quarter building bird houses.

Thursday 7th- Working in the kitchen making breakfasts. In the kitchens individual groups will make pancakes, waffles, french toast, scambled eggs with bacon and sausage.
Wednesday 6th- Talked about Kitchen safety and reviewed information about how we are influenced in food choices.
Tuesday 5th- Talked about nutrition and what was in their reading on Monday.
Monday 4th- Finished up Quillo projects- Read page 272-277 and did a journal entry on what the food guide pyramid is, what it is used for, and when to use it.
